Evaluating People-to-People Reconciliation Programs: Findings, Conclusions, and Feedback
Hosted by: Conflict Prevention and Resolution Forum, Search for Common Ground
Location: Kenney Auditorium, Johns Hopkins University SAIS
1740 Massachusetts Ave NW
Washington, DC 20036
Time: 9:00am - 3:00pm
Summary: USAID's Office of Conflict Management and Mitigation (CMM) has supported peacebuilding through its "People-to-People" (P2P) reconciliation programs.  These programs bring together individuals of different ethnic, religious or political backgrounds from areas of civil conflict and war. Over the past two years, Social Impact (SI) in partnership with CMM, carried out an evaluative learning review of the P2P Reconciliation Program. During the March 11 CPRF event, speakers will present the findings and conclusions of the report, and provide an opportunity for implementing partners, evaluation specialists, and USAID staff to have a dialogue about the nature of "people-to-people" programming, and how to effectively evaluate it.
